Daniel Gerdesmann

Hi,

I am a PhD candidate at the University of Education Freiburg, Germany. Currently, I am researching the interplay of cognitive skills during simulation-based inquiry learning in physics. The goal is to effectively guide learners during inquiry tasks according to their individual pre-existing skills and dispositions to maximize learning gains (and fun!). I also look at evidence that motivated reasoning leads to higher polarization among the scientifically literate on controversial topics.
